Identity, Culture & LGBTQIA+
Affirming Therapy and Coaching
Understanding who you are rarely happens in isolation. Identity is shaped through culture, race, family systems, sexuality, relationships, community, and the environments we move through. When these influences conflict or feel misaligned, it can create confusion, internal tension, or a sense of disconnection.
I provide culturally responsive, liberation-informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy and coaching for adults and teens navigating identity development, relational healing, and intersectional life experiences.
My work supports clients in building clarity, self-trust, and relationships that reflect their values and lived experience. This often includes strengthening relational patterns so that connection feels more secure, authentic, and aligned.
I offer LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy in Washington State through secure virtual sessions, as well as identity and relationship coaching for clients worldwide.

My Approach to Multicultural and LGBTQIA+ Affirming Care
I practice from a liberation-informed and feminist lens, recognizing that identity development does not occur in a vacuum. Systems of power, privilege, marginalization, race, gender, sexuality, and social conditioning shape how individuals experience belonging, safety, and relational connection. Therapy becomes a space not only for personal insight, but for examining and healing the impact of these systems.
I practice as an integrative therapist, drawing from attachment science, trauma-informed care, and systems-based models of healing.
My work is grounded in:
Attachment and Relational Healing
Understanding how early relationships, family systems, and cultural experiences shape cultural belonging and connection patterns.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Helping clients understand and integrate different parts of themselves that may hold conflicting identity experiences, shame, or protective patterns.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Supporting clients and partners in creating safer emotional bonds and strengthening relationship security.
Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP)
Supporting teens and families in strengthening attachment, emotional safety, and sense of self.
Culturally and Feminist Attuned Therapy
Exploring how power, social systems, culture, and identity influence personal and relational experiences.

Multicultural Identity and Intersectional Experiences
Cultural development is shaped by race, ethnicity, immigration history, adoption, spirituality, gender, and relational context. These experiences are also influenced by structural inequities, intergenerational narratives, and access to social power. Therapy offers space to examine both personal history and systemic impact, allowing clients to move toward integrated self-understanding and empowered relational choices.
